Poem: The Lovers' Lie

Title:The Lovers' Lie
Author: [livejournal.com profile] barkinmad
Pairing: Cobb/Mal (IDEK, I just keep writing them...)
Rating: PG? PG-13? Nothing graphic.
Disclaimer: Christopher Nolan's reality > my reality.
Notes: Of course, this was written for [livejournal.com profile] inception_kink, but more specifically, [livejournal.com profile] helenvalentine's awesome prompt: WRITE ME SOME POETRY, BITCHES. Don't ask me why I always post to my journal hours and hours after I originally comment, I have no idea.

Would it not be such a sin
To find a place to settle in
To build up houses with our minds,
Full of hopes and secret finds.

To march upon the ocean's shore
Declare our love, and then once more,
To shout and scream, as loud we please
And hear it travel 'pon the breeze.

To stop in time but not in love,
Forget about the world above
No mouths to feed, no plague, no debt
The perfect life, I know, and yet -

I lay in wait for a distant train
For I know I will see you again.

So...I haven't finished cleaning up [livejournal.com profile] sitrow, but I did totally reorganize my delicious! Which is pretty awesome since I've been using it for the meme. There is also a chance I might be going as River Song for Halloween, but we shall see. It kind of depends if my crush goes as The Doctor.
