All Hell Breaks Loose, Part Deux

From TWOP:
Portal to hell? Buffy flashback, anyone?

Yes! I was screaming "JUST CALL IT THE HELL-MOUTH, ALREADY" all night.

The episode did have some bright points, but the ending felt so out of sync.

I'm also glad that they didn't drag out the Sammy-in-the-dark ordeal, and that Sam is going to take it upon himself to save Dean, but the deal-with-the-devil might get a little old. Hopefully they'll wrap it up by sweeps? I don't see how we can have any humorous episodes when Dean's death is hanging over our heads (and really, I melted at Dean smiling, but why? It just didn't gel).

Also, I really don't think they should have called back to the pilot so soon. If Kripke didn't think that was his last episode (and they way he was setting it up, I don't believe he did) then he shouldn't have wasted such a perfectly good classic show shot. Those should be really saved (i.e. Gilmore Girls).

For the most part, though, I am satisfied with the episode, while still a little underwhelmed..if that makes any sense whatsoever.

So..yeah. I don't really have much to add except that I COMPLETELY MISSED THE HUG. Damn you, Kripke. Couldn't you have thought of something slightly more creative?

ETA: Is it wrong that I just came up with the idea that the crossroads demon actually only gave Dean one day, and that next season will become a Supernatural 24? I don't even watch that show....but it would be kind of awesome, right?

OMG if Dean had only one day, I would be dead. That would be amazing, but just so OMG.

The hug wasn't a totally mutual clingy hug. DAMN YOU KRIPKE.

Well. I was completely overwhelmed by the two parts of that season finale. Maybe you're right about the last shot, but gah. Luckily Dean has got a year, COME ON ! Those last few eps pumped up my Dean love.

To be honest I hope they find a solution for his deal with the demon soon in s3 too, but I'm afraid it won't be the case. Knowing it took two seasons to get rid of the YED...well he had more of a mythology around it, maybe. I dunno.

Anyway, I'm in love with Sammy so damn much. And I do hope he didn't came back 100% Sammy because that would be so sexy as hell, teehee.

Hee! I probably would be dead too, but it's certainly an enticing fic prompt though, isn't it?

Yeah, people on TWOP were talking about the hug, and all of the sudden it hit me! I felt so stupid, but the hug just seemed to slide right in there and it felt like a natural time to hug. I didn't remember that these were the Winchesters we're dealing with!

Dean (and Jensen for that matter) definitely get a lot of love XD The first half I really liked (although a little slow-paced) because we got to see Andy and Ava again. The second half had it's good moments as well, but it didn't seem like a season finale..it's seemed more definite than that..

I think it's going to be resolved at the last minute, which means that we won't be able to have ANY fun at all if we want it to make sense. No more Hollywood Babylons without me going crazy thinking "Deans gonna DIE". So, really, either way I lose :\..can't WAIT though.

Sexy=yes, but I still love Darling Old Sammy, so I don't really like the idea of him having any gray areas. He'd be too much like the other characters that way.
