So, this user I've never heard of

mcee is obviously very cool because he's doing a challenge over at his LJ called the Default Icon Drabble Challenge which doesn't even require past experience in writing. Here's the one that I wrote. Not exactly genius, but that's not the point:

It was when he smiled at her. She just couldn’t go on calling him Jared after he’d smiled at her and told that joke about the midget stripper. She tried to figure out a nickname for him. A name that would stick. “Paddy” “Lecki” “Padfoot” “Jar-Jar”. The last two she’d just told him so he’d get annoyed. He did, and then he laughed as he pushed her out of the way a bit. It was his laugh that brought the second wave of inspiration. She’d turned around to snark, “You’re adorable,” and ended up saying his last name. “Adorablecki”. And it stuck.

So yeah. Good times.
