1x10 The Moment of Truth
Merlin.
OH GOOD GOD THIS SHOW. First of all, if the whole rooftop conversation between Arthur and Merlin wasn't squee-worthy enough, there's the whole sleeping on the floor together and FOOTSIE and Arthur teasing Merlin as a friend and WHY DIDN'T WE SEE MORE OF THIS IN OTHER EPISODES? It's so awesome. Also, this exchange made me giggle:
"Remind you of how I used to beat you?"
"That never happened."
I really hope they don't take the direction of the show in an Arthur/Gwen direction. I was kind of confused and upset at first but now I think it works for the show that it leans toward Merlin/Gwen. Don't ruin it by going canon! Forge your own way! But really, this episode in general is (I'm still not done) so much awesome.
FOOT IN FACE. FOOT. IN. FACE.
P.S. Dear God, Will is so, so dead. And for some reason, his name in my head is spelled with one L. IDK why, it just is.
P.P.S. OH MAN MERLIN'S MOM SHIPS MERLIN/ARTHUR SO HARD.
Also, did 40s and 50s movies really have scripts? Because it's not like there's much plot in them at all and it just seems...unnecessary. That and I really don't want to write a script because I know it'll be horrible and OMG WHY DO I FAIL SO HARD?

That being said OH BOYS I LOVE YOU SO. And I'm a bit mad at you for reminding me how much so because the next season isn't here yet! AND I REFUSE TO VID ANYMORE UNTIL SEASON TWO. *gives self stern look*
What genre of 40s/50s films do you mean? Because like Noir was certainly plot heavy. And one of my favorite films ever Now Voyager was filmed in 42 and then there's Desk Set from 57...

SO MUCH LOVE FOR THESE BOYS. And I'm sorry! Resist! I can't wait for the second season either, but I'm jealous of your muse.
Oh yeah I know a ton of those movies that are scripted really well and everything, but I'm writing a flat out 40s/50s musical! XD Not much going on there. Well, there is, but...you know what I mean.

SERIOUSLY. My muse is a cranky little bitch, I have Kings and Star Trek and even Sarah Jane Adventures to vid and it's like NO WE LIKE MERLIN *STAMPS FOOT*. grrr.
Oh well, pft, do a hospital musical. They could sing about comas! Nurses in cute hats! I have no clue, musicals aren't usually... yeah I do get what you mean. They're light and fluffy. I would send Gene Kelly to come help but he'd be mean and try to kick your ass into shape. *hides*

There is an episode of the Monkees where one of the characters actually reads the dictionary and I got all flaily! It was pretty fantastic.
I hate it when muses don't behave! I haven't been able to write fic in forever, and all my creative original work doesn't seem to do it for me :/ I just wish I had a good idea and could execute it well. (Then again, who doesn't like Merlin?!? I do not blame your muses.)
See, I already have the plot (well, kinda) and the songs and everything worked out, I just need a script. Which I don't want to write. I think it's going to be much more fun executing it visually and choreographing everything. Also, I have repeatedly noted that I need to find the next Gene Kelly for this film. I would LOVE to have him, even though in his prime he was kind of an ass :/
