Confliction

Question: I have made an Inception fanmix. It started out as Arthur/Ariadne, but then the mix firmly put it's foot down and informed me that it was in fact all about Cobb/Mal. I conceded. But I still really liked what I had so far for Arthur/Ariadne, so I figured I could sort of release it as an EP. Something like an addendum to the Cobb/Mal mix? I currently have the artwork for main mix uploaded with all the songs and everything, but I don't have anything like that for the EP. It'll probably have to wait until tomorrow since I just got booted out of a closing Starbucks and my computer is running out battery. So the question is, do you guys think I should post the Cobb/Mal mix now and the EP later? Or all at once?

And just for shits and giggles, this is going to be a poll.

Note: If I were to do an Eames/Arthur mix, it would be full of pain an angst on Arthur's side, and songs from Avenue Q and Lady Gaga and Eames's side.

I'm always so neurotic that someone is going to post a fanmix with all the same songs I thought of, but I try to think of that as a good sign instead of a bad sign!

WHOO.

Man, okay. Hilarious story about fanmix overlap - I was building my one and only Supernatural fanmix right when a new crop of promos started up...only to discover that one of the promos was totally to one of the songs already on the fanmix. It was a very "AUGH WHAT. IS THIS-- HNNGK. Whatever" moment.

ALSO YES, THIS TIMES A THOUSAND MILLION.

UGH that must have been so annoying! It's like you can feel your ~originality~ being stripped right off you!

Was it "God's Gonna Cut You Down"? Because that's about the only SPN promo I can actively remember.

Also, I want to see this fanmix! I'm very intrigued!

Also also, if you have the interest, I made my own one and only SPN fanmix, but it's kind of outdated because it took place at the beginning of Season 3.

HA, it totally was. The promo is excellent, so I couldn't feel too put out.

AND ALSO OH GOD NO. It's kind of an awful hodge podge of a mix, and I don't doubt that it's probably expired by now.

Also, hells yes. I am so into fanmixes it's ridiculous. I swear half my music comes from them.

If it's not expired, I swear I'm interested! I'm am nothing of not eclectic, and I feel like fanmixes tell a lot about what the person thinks about the characters...

I freakin' love how this fandom produces fanmixes like some sort of manic, music loving machine. It's wonderful. Cobb/Mal always needs more love, so gimme gimme!
