Now I'm watching a Spencer and Hepburn AND THEY ARE ALSO PLAYING CLAIRE DE LUNE

ETA: The film is called Without Love and it's a little weird but it's such a delight seeing Lucille Ball really put to good use and knock it out of the park with Tracy.

There's Toscanini, Iturbi, and Me

I have access to TCM again, so that's mainly what's been filling up my time Not Working. My sleep is pretty bad so tonight the issue will be keeping myself sane overnight and then finding the right balance of sleep to wake up for my 4 PM shift.

I'm going through the back catalog trying to catch up (they delete a day's worth of movies at midnight) and there was a Maureen O'Brien day so I watch a few of hers. I really like her, but one WWII precocious child film after another can get a bit much

Some Day They'll Go Down Together, They'll Bury Them Side By Side

The highlight of my day was walking down to Ben & Jerry's, getting free fro-yo from my friend who works there, and watching her close up shop.

Which, you know, wasn't so bad.

Movies I Watched Or Started Watching Today:
Bonnie & Clyde (Warren Beatty is a FUCKING DREAMBOAT, guys. How did I not know about him before? Just GUH, I mean...I watch for the plot.)
Sherlock Holmes (Because I currently don't own any of Doyle's books, and you know, research for the murder mystery, and one can never have enough Sherlock, and did I mention how awesome that movie is?)
An Affair to Remember (Cary Grant - YAAAAAY!, The Plot - ...um, sure?)

The Powers That Be

You know what? Whatever force there is decided that tonight would be the night I find a video of Joseph Gordon-Levitt talking about Marlon Brando and Guys & Dolls. So I'm just going to take it and run.
