The highlight of my day was walking down to Ben & Jerry's, getting free fro-yo from my friend who works there, and watching her close up shop.
Which, you know, wasn't so bad.
Movies I Watched Or Started Watching Today:
Bonnie & Clyde (Warren Beatty is a FUCKING DREAMBOAT, guys. How did I not know about him before? Just GUH, I mean...I watch for the plot.)
Sherlock Holmes (Because I currently don't own any of Doyle's books, and you know, research for the murder mystery, and one can never have enough Sherlock, and did I mention how awesome that movie is?)
An Affair to Remember (Cary Grant - YAAAAAY!, The Plot - ...um, sure?)

Date: 2010-08-14 10:29 pm (UTC)I'm planning on watching Splendor in the Grass soon. I DVR'd it (TCM had a full day of Warren Beatty movies...) and it was his first movie ever! Also, Natalie Wood which...I don't know which actor is prettier.

Date: 2010-08-14 06:07 pm (UTC)I mean, Bonnie & Clyde? (One of my favorite movies of all time, btw.) It's no wonder Warren Beatty is known as such a player in real life. Gah, who would deny him?
And I LOVE Sherlock Holmes. And Sherlock. (You watched the BBC series, right?) The books are nice, but sometimes eyecandy is needed.
Also, Cary Grant? I love the man so much. Ideal gentleman. <3 And HEY. I totally loved An Affair To Remember's plot. Lots of.. uh, making with the sad. Forgive me, I make no sense today.

Date: 2010-08-14 10:33 pm (UTC)YES I SAW THE SERIES OMG, THAT'S WHAT STARTED ME ON THIS WHOLE THING. It was amazing, right?! I actually just bought Study in Scarlet and Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, so hopefully I can do some catching up!
Cary Grant remains one of my favorite actors of all time. I will watch him in just about everything, kind of like my love for Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I feel like they're both really versatile actors, even though they are very different. It's very dramatic, but I think it's one of the first movie to mix drama with rom-com? So maybe that's why it seems tired and soap opera-ish now, but wasn't back then.
