Classes start today. I only have one on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I woke up early anyway. My Broadcast Production class starts at 2, and I just got my (International Edition...oops) textbook in the mail! Exciting exciting.

I have claimed a prompt at inception_bang.

I have two essays, a final exam (after the test I took today), and all my packing for school ahead of me in the next week.

One of these essays is for the class that wanted me to take Jersey Shore as a serious cultural example. Guess which class I don't give a shit about?!

I might sign up for a GameFly account so I can have my Photobucket bandwidth back. I'd split it up with all my friends so we'd only each have to pay a dollar a month, or we'd trade of paying each month in a rotation. I've already gotten two people to say yes, which means I might be taking my PS2 to college with me.

It's gotten to the point where the difference between reading my flist and reading my FB timeline is sometimes negligible. Not even close to possible two years ago. I love it.

Also, about community tags...apparently they're private to all other members until used. How do I reverse that default? Can I? How did you other community maintainers deal with this? Should I just go in after someone posts and change the tags up?

Hey, so, I've been spending ALL my time at the kink_meme recently. Which is all well and good, because I LOVE it and it's full of puppies and rainbows and things.

But I kind of feel like I'm missing out on other parts of fandom? I joined a lot of comms, but I don't have time to read anything (partly because I'm lazy, partly because I'm juggling about eleven things right now in preparation for school).

So...I hate to ask this of my flist, usually, because I feel I should be PROACTIVE! and SELF-RELIANT! and actually dip my toes into fandom itself, but this is kind of like that, right?

Basically, I need recs.

I honestly don't even care about the pairing (I'm kind of an across-the-board shipper), as long as the story is really good or insanely funny.

Also, I'm starting on Rosetta Stone for British English and French. _{The latter might be because of JGL wait, what who said that?}

But I figure outside of my crazy, it's a good skill to have, and I know Spanish pretty well and my friend wants to brush up on hers and, uh...yeah. I'm not a psycho, I swear.

So...I haven't finished cleaning up sitrow, but I did totally reorganize my delicious! Which is pretty awesome since I've been using it for the meme. There is also a chance I might be going as River Song for Halloween, but we shall see. It kind of depends if my crush goes as The Doctor.

I can decide whether I want to badly fill out this prompt, watch Sherlock or 3rd Rock, or just listen to the Inception soundtrack over and over and over again.

I have made an Inception fanmix. It started out as Arthur/Ariadne, but then the mix firmly put it's foot down and informed me that it was in fact all about Cobb/Mal. I conceded. But I still really liked what I had so far for Arthur/Ariadne, so I figured I could sort of release it as an EP. (Sorry for the repeat for those of you on my flist.)

I was honestly surprised with how many of these songs had at least one reference to sleep in all of them. Some are obvious, but others not quite so much!

Each song is uploaded individually and then in the full mix .zip at the bottom.
