Oh, I know what you mean! Some of the people I hang out with are hipsters and they can drive me up the wall. It's mostly with music, but they really can't understand why I enjoy campy things like Glee and Teen Which so much. IT'S ALL PART OF OUR CULTURAL HERITAGE, OKAY?!?
Are you majoring in Film? They didn't have that major in my school, so I started off with Creative Writing and now I'm going to try to tack on a Communications major because some of the classes seem relevant to my interests.
NGL, I thought the movie was based of the show (even though the theme song is about the only thing I remember). But I still love them both!
SERIOUSLY. I mean, I am quite guilty of railing against the TV and movie industry both, many times, but as much as I hate to admit it, I recognise that it is part of our cultural heritage. It's just that things like Jersey Shore and the like make me D:
I'm majoring in animation, specifically. Yay for creative writing! Do you want to get published?
I do toooo omg. The theme song for the cartoon is fantastic.
Ugh, yeah I mean, I can't stand Jersey Shore or Jon & Kate or mostly any of the shows my sister watches :/ There's just something wrong about them, and I feel like they shouldn't even BE a part of our culture. I was talking more about the cultish campy stuff that all of my friends make fun of me for?
That sounds awesome! I do want to get published, but I recognize I'm nowhere near good enough at writing stories. I'm actually leaning more toward scriptwriting for TV shows or movies. Or maybe something to do with working on set, or directing or something? IDK.
I wanted that roller coaster in my closet so badly!
That makes sense! There's nothing wrong with camp. My friend gives me so much shit for watching Vampire Diaries and I'm like "STFUUUU ;___;" I think when people judge things without giving them a chance, therein lies the problem.
That would be cool! There's so many jobs available in the movie industry, it pays to keep options open.
