I really need to see this movie with everyone I know, because it's going to be my subject of conversation for a looooong time. What did you think of it, by the way?

YUSSSSS. I like relishing in the confusion, myself. Makes for repeated watching, like you said. And if I have to, I'm going to randomly greet people and ask them if they want to go see Inception, 'cause then I'd have excuses to see it a billion times before the DVD comes out. GOOD PLAN? x)

What did I think of it? OMFG. It is now my favorite movie of all time, FOR SURE. Well, for the moment. I have to let the excitement subside and then find out if that's true. But it probably is. I loved the plot, I love Nolan, and I shipped everyone/everyone. You?

I love it too! My friend and I had two differing theories, but then I got home and there was a post on ONTD and my perception of the film COMPLETELY changed! I really need to see it again to look for the wedding ring, because I think that's key. Although the problem with that is that I have to pull myself away from the pretty, which is nigh impossible.

I actually didn't really ship anyone until I got home? It usually turns out that way. I felt deeply for Cobb and Mal, and I loved Arthur's little crush on Ariadne, and his relationship with Eames, but I didn't really think anything of it.

And THEN I got on the kinkmeme, and now I ship everyone/everyone! XD

I went with my Mom ('cause she's awesome), and yeah, our theories were totally opposite. I'm seriously curious about the post you speak of! D: Gah, I love those hidden little things that you totally miss the first time around. Who can pull their eyes away from a cast as beautiful as this? (Obviously, someone did in order to see said clues, but it boggles my mind.)

I'm usually eager to point out when two characters are having a lot of eye contact, and it's as simple as that- they're shipped. But, luckily, I was more into the plot 'til after it ended. XD Cobb and Mal totally made me cry. Arthur/Eames, btw? They're probably the main two that I couldn't deny the chemistry with, you know, until Arthur/Ariadne blindsided me.

THAT IS AWESOME. I felt like my floor might become my ceiling, and then I'd get to create stairs and do a paradox. x)

Yeah, that usually works for me too, but I was so worked up in the plot! I loved the chemistry between Arthur and Eames, but I didn't actually think about slashing them until I got online!

omg this movie. I... THIS MOVIE! I just saw it for the second time and I need to see it again. I have thoughts but they're likely incorrect. I just...don't even know. but I think I ship post-level 2-Arthur/Ariadne, and previous jobs-Arthur/Eames. gaaaah I need more.

and I need some JGL icons. preferably of him looking like a GQMF (which is always)

I'm sincerely hoping to see it over the weekend because I've only seen it once. There are people who have seen in three times already! THREE!

I definitely agree with you on the shipping, but I'm really just into anything for this fandom. It all makes sense to be.

Although the one thing I don't think I'll ever be able to read or even think about is RPF. RPF with this cast (especially JGL) just seems...wrong to me.

And I just found a bunch of awesome icons last night! Some of them might be replaced soon with Doctor Who, but you can just look through the people I credited!

but I agree about not wanting to touch the RPF. I can read it for like, SPN but not really anything else. for this movie... that'd be a little too much for me. idk why.

JGL in a three-piece suit does things to me. When did he turn into such a GQMF? I remember him being so nerdy in 3rd Rock...

SPN I feel is a little bit more different, because the actors are a little goofier? I feel like they're kind of in on the joke, even if it makes them a little uncomfortable (understandably).

For this fandom, I feel like it's kind of...IDK. It's sort of a respect thing? I just love JGL so much and respect him so much as an actor that to use his image just to get people off is kind of icky to me. And I know I'm being arbitrary and it's not like I don't respect Jared or Jensen, it's just something I can't do.

UNF. I KNOW. When he was spinning in that room? I was like, "Please have this burned into my brain. Pleeaaase."

But he still is dorky! That's the greatest part! He can be a geek AND a BAMF. My perfect man ♥.

I totally get what you mean re: respect. It's a different situation with people like the cast of Inception vs. the actors on SPN. Jared and Jensen are more personable, more accessible and let's face it, easier to write into porny situations, either AU or otherwise. To try and do that with JGL and maybe Ellen Page would be awkward and uncomfortable because we don't really have a feel for who they are as people outside of some interviews. They don't really have a persona that they use to interact with fans directly like J2 do at conventions. I respect both sets of actors, but it makes me slightly more uneasy trying to use JGL for PWP purposes. Does that make sense?

Yessssss! And when he was fighting in the hallway when the gravity was all screwed up? I got so giddy seeing it again. I think most of his scenes were my favorite (even though the Limbo ones were pretty cool as well).

What I meant was he was this dorky little kid with weird hair, who you'd more likely be friends with than want to date when the show started. Now he's still kinda dorky but it's more mature, it has this sexy quality to it.

I completely get what you're saying. I think maybe for me it's the opposite? Because I've seen SO many interviews, and visited his website and watched a lot of his videos that I kind of feel that he's in a sense being very truthful with his fans, and I think RPS would kind of be a breach of that pact, and pretty disrespectful. I also don't want him to start hating people again :/

YES! That was one of my favorite moments in the entire movie, NGL.
