Well, we kind of switch out shows in that we'll have two, or sometimes three, going on at once, and we decide that night what we feel like watching, or if we want to do one of each. Usually it's something darker paired with something lighter.
But, I don't think there's anything wrong with taking a break with a show or just dropping one when you lose interest! When there are so many interesting options out there, maybe what you want is more of a sampler platter!
