I've been finishing up cleaning up and organizing my tag system into something readable, which means I realized again that my entire journal from high school was also crossposted (or just straight up transferred) here and like...

Okay, I really don't want to delete those posts because that time and those memories will...maybe one day be precious to me. But at the same time I have tags for Johnny Depp and my senior theater class woes and I refer to my RL friends by codenames and it's all very...high school.

Not like I have to start completely over, but there was quite a large gap (filled by tumblr) and a lot of the tags I used probably won't be useful anymore. I get to fill it up with new tags for my new obsessions and my new pretty boys.

I'm also just really not used to giving a shit about tags because tumblr was the fricken' wild wild west. I probably have to redo my likes and interests on my profile too, but...uh...refer to the post below for why that's a drag.

Thank you for listening to my rambles, here is a skysolo video I found yesterday:

Okay, so, some of you know how I was talking about JGL's stint on SNL last night. And I was posting pictures and generally squeeing over the fact that he did Make 'Em Laugh live on-stage, which is pretty much the coolest thing ever. Right? Right.

Well, it turns out that [livejournal.com profile] fight_the_sky who is already my number one Glee hero, decided to make gifs of that VERY THING on the SAME NIGHT.

So now I'm stuck with trying to figure out how to work this gif into every single conversation.

Photobucket

What is he even doing though? It's like Thriller that transitions into a vaudevillian interpretation of Hamlet.

But I love it. I've told you guys my theory about vaudeville, right? It needs to come back and advertise itself like the Twitter of Broadway. (YOU HAVE ONE MINUTES AND FORTY SECONDS TO MAKE THE AUDIENCE FEEL SOMETHING OR ELSE YOU GET THE CANE.)

I went to an Amanda Palmer ninja gig today. It was pretty fucking awesome. As previously mentioned, it took place in the theater where I currently want to live, breathe and die. They actually said that the theater was being forced to closed unless people volunteered, so I heartily signed up. I don't care if I have another schedule and still no way to make money. I want that theater open.

Oh, right! Music! I know she played "Oasis" and "Hallelujah" but I didn't know the names of the other songs because I'm a horrible fan. She and Jason Webley did play an Evelyn Evelyn song that was quite good. The premise reminded me of "Sisters." For those of you unawares:

The one on the left is George Clooney's aunt, BTW. And if you liked that, you should watch the version with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye.

We had pretty good seats and I took a couple of pictures. I wanted to buy tickets for the actual EE show tomorrow night, but I have a midterm. Oh well.

During the performance, Amanda came down into the audience and sat right next to me for a while! That was pretty awesome. I didn't say anything, but still a very cool story. She also signed my friend's tit (don't worry, I have pics!) and would have signed my notebook if the guy behind us hadn't cut.

Speaking of sisters, I kind of pissed mine off today :/ I'll go bury my shame with more Buffy.

There's going to be a story about Dr. Horrible on All Things Considered today. For my time zone, that show is from 4 to 6. I was actually really excited when I heard about it at first, because I thought maybe I'd had a part to play in it, but LOL no. I'm gonna listen to it anyway, since it should be interesting.

I've watched Act Two about five fifty times, and I've got my dad seems really into it as well.

I just realized what an awkwardly funny word pant is...huh.

ANYway, I just got back from the Supentural Friending Meme over at [livejournal.com profile] extreme_graphix's journal. I find it hilarious that all the crazy insane people found each other and we just had a huge friending orgy. Fandom is so incestuous. I LOVE IT.

So, basically, I want to welcome all my new friends to my journal; I shall be stalking you soon.

I've also joined what seems to be a very promising new community (I've read too many college apps) called [livejournal.com profile] spn_freshblood and it's growing by leaps and bounds. It's basically just an influx of wank-free creative talent and I'm hoping that it'll serve us all well.

I should really be doing extra homework, because all next week is Hell Week, and I'll be in school until 9 o'clock. But I'm totally not, because, well, uh....GOODBYE!

Really? Because I left that shit behind years ago. It amuses me that EVERYONE on my f-list was insanely happy when they thought [livejournal.com profile] sam_dean was free. It just goes to show how much either a)everyone on my flist rocks or b) how much she really sucks. A is most definitely correct, B is probably correct as well.

Basically, my computer got a virus, but my hard drive seems to be alright, and my dad finally bought a new external hard drive which is now being loaded with everything. Hopefully I'll be able to clear my actual hard drive soon and make my computer a re-zombie or whatever. Seriously, I can hardly wait until I get a new computer this summer. I don't know what I do to computers that make them die so quickly (oh, right, DW), but I'll try my bestest not to let it happen again.

When my computer is alive again, I'll finally be able to make my 3/3 post (with pictures!) and all will hopefully be well.

Also? I'm kind of really freaking out right now, because next week is Hell Week for the show, and I'm on tech, and then that Saturday is the day that my next two college apps are due. Have I mentioned I haven't started on the small paragraphs yet? This is all because my computer is down, so at least I have an excuse! For now...

Happy belated Thanksgiving, all!

Okay, so these postcards aren't quite secrets, so I can't post them in [livejournal.com profile] spn_secretpost, but there are postcards, so...

These are some of the ones with the RENT theme to them )

So, I did callbacks today, and then all the directors duked it out over the actors. We got done in only 45 minutes! How awesome are we? I mean, seriously, for thirteen directors (teenagers, mind you) and limited number of good actors, we actually did this rather civilly :). Of course, I might only be saying this because I got my top two picks XD..it's good to be selective.

Now, I actually have to do the rehearsal part, but that comes after spring break, right? All I have to do is paperwork over the week and then come back and we can start. My lead female but a zillion things down for rehearsal time limits, so I'm going to have a talk with her. Really, April 23 to 29? Really, noooo time at all for those eight days? Uh-uh. I don't care if you're in the play, OTHER people are in the play TOO and THEY have time to rehearse. That's what I'll tell her, I will.

But all in all, not a completely crappy day despite the fact that I have two day's worth of homework to catch up on and it's already 10:30.
