Okay so here is, essentially, my forever problem...

This is my (highly curated) list of things I'd like to watch, and although I've maybe made some progress on two or three of them, I haven't actually finished much. Also I was working on catching up on DCTV (which is four, and then five, shows at a time. I am two years behind because of grad school) and making okay progress I guess, but then I got sick for three days and started watching The Muppet Show.

Muppet Show is very easy to watch, and very quick, but there are five seasons and I doubt I will watch it all the way through.

Also I have four episodes left of Merlin.

Also I put on an episode of Smallville while I was re-stringing my guitar because fuck why not it's my favorite

Also every time I see fic for a fandom I'm not in I get interested and am like "oh, I should watch Man From UNCLE and DS9 and Northern Exposure"

Also I want to read fic (I don't) and read books (which I can't on my commute because I get motion sickness) and listen to podcasts and audiobooks and and and

I am just so behind, and things are going to be getting any better. I have an exam on Thursday, a paper due Monday and then a final on Thursday. And that's just for one of my two classes. I go back to school that Saturday, and usually the next three to four days month is a collegiate blur of booze and pot and classes.

Gah.

So I haven't been able to write or do anything of the sort, I've barely been able to mod [livejournal.com profile] inceptionau (which, actually, doesn't seem to need much modding), and I'm afraid it's going to fail because even though it has 100 watchers (YAY!) there are only three non-mod posts. Drat. Hopefully the challenge will pick things up.

Also, can I mention that when a girl is walking really quickly through a university campus at night with a bunch of bags, it is not a good time to start chatting her up? I was passing this guy, and he was already a couple of feet behind me when he said hey, so I had to wheel around to make sure that I wasn't crazy and hearing voices or anything. My bus was leaving in four minutes across campus, and I told him such and started leaving, and he was like calling after me asking if there was another time. DUDE. I'M IN A RUSH AND I'M CLEARLY NOT INTERESTED. JUST DROP IT.

I should be interviewing people for an essay I have to write tomorrow. For a class about television, which I was REALLY excited about, it turned out to be kinda sucky. I think I'm just annoyed that I had to go back to the real world after my weekend of pure awesome. If anyone feels the need to share in my pain about the end of Sherlock, you may do so in the comments.

So now my journal looks ugly until next "month".

WAAAAAAAH.

BRB, deleting as much as I'm willing.

Update: I don't any new bandwidth until the 23rd. Drat.

- I know I said that I'd be crossposting everything over from my shared Wordpress blog, Bonded By Madness, but I recently wrote one about my baking process and it's mostly made up of photos and to transfer the all over would be Too Much Work. So, I'm linking. If you want to read and see how I made delicious chocolate peanut butter ball cupcakes (along with the entire recipe c&p'd), click here. You can leave comments on either blog, if you wish.

- How does one track the anonmeme? I've finally caught on to tracking comms/posts, but I don't know how to get a notification for new threads. Am I gonna have to track each thread individually once I comment? I guess that's better than getting my inbox flooded.

- I'm attempting to use gimp. Not actually failing that hard. Just a little.

- I still kind of have this urge to write, but I don't know what to write about. I guess I'll just write anything. Maybe I'll go back to Bothered and Bewildered.

- I watched "Role Models" last night, and I actually thought it was really funny. On top of the awesomeness of Paul Rudd, there was the added pleasure if Jane Lynch. One of the things I really appreciated that it took it's characters seriously, especially Oggie. The film could have gone the usual route of making fun of the character mercilessly by showing how "awkward" and socially inept he is, but instead they just presented him as a normal kid with a different view of how he wanted to spend his time. They legitimized LARPing, that's how awesome the movie is. There were also multiple Wings reference, so, you know, WIN.

- There's a 90% chance I won't be able to catch the Glee finale tomorrow night because of classes. D: STRONG DISLIKE.

1. My iPod is still missing. Sadness D:

2. I think my alarm clock doesn't want me to ever go to Brit. Lit. Even I'm getting sick of the excuse.

3. I'm not undoing the braid in my hair until I get it dyed. I hope my friend likes green because that's the color I had to buy in order to get bleach. I didn't really trust the color removal stuff. Plus, it was more expensive.

4. Digg it:

The Most Intense Website Intro Ever

I still think the comments are the most hilarious part of it. It's energy for god! GODERGY!
Anyone else on Digg? I'm all lonely.

ETA: I was excited enough when they played "A Well Respected Man" on SPN, since I was barely aware anyone but me listened to it, but then I go to Walgreens and they play it over the loudspeaker? Awesome. Kinda.
