Presents and Games and Rangers, Oh My!

Is it wrong to list all the things I got for Christmas? Who cares, this is the best one I've had in a while, present-wise:


- Across the Universe CD
- Enchanted CD
- The Simpsons DVD
- Ratatouille DVD
- Gilmore Girls: Season 2 DVD
- LeSportSac purse!! (It's the wrong body, but I'm going to return it and get the one I want. Plus, it's the awesome, AMAZING thought that counts.)
- A headband I picked out that looks like it's from the 20's
- Really Cool Earrings
- Memo Board for College (My sister got this for me, it's really nice.)
- Cool Hat
- 16 Month Heroes Calendar!!! (I didn't even ask for this, my mom just knew! She DOES pay attention! Also, her Milo love might've helped :D)
- Supernatural Season 2 (arrived on Friday)
- A really girly diary from my Grandpa. It'll never be used, but it's a fun(ny) gift.
- A Bean necklace from Tiffany.

I'm also hoping that I can get a comforter from my grandfather, because I'm sorely in need of one. I sound SO spoiled right now, but really, every other year I've felt a distinct lack of thought behind my presents, so...


Okay, so I just wanted to wish EVERYONE happy holidays! Even if you don't celebrate anything, I hope it's just a good day XD My aunt bought this little wooden Christmas tree from Borders or something, and we spent a good fifteen minutes last night figuring out where all the little figurines go. It's so cute! It's amazing, I'll have to take pictures of it (and of some of my presents). Hopefully we'll play some Apples to Apples later. We have a radio station that's playing Beatles all day without commercial interruption, it's quite fun :D

I've been telling people I'm going to make a MMPR slash post, and I guess this is the best time to do it since I'll be working for the rest of the week (my spillcaps will NEVER get done, will they?). So, basically, Saturday night I watched MMPR: The Movie, because it pretty much defined all that was awesome in my childhood. And in the last year or two I've been re-watching old episodes, and this is how I think things went down between the original power rangers:

Billy has a HUGE GINORMUS crush on Kimberly. This isn't even debatable. She was the cool one, and he was the dorky one whom no one but Trini could understand. But then it was obvious that Kimberly and Tommy had a thing for each other. So Billy tried to be more cool. He started talking normally (you can actually see this throughout the show) and he tried to be more like Tommy. Nothing really happened until the new rangers replaced Zach, Jason, and Trini. See, while Tommy liked Kimberly, he also liked Jason, but now that Jason was gone, he finally put the moves on Kimberly. This is around the time that Kimberly realizes that she likes Billy. So she and Billy and going out in secret, and Adam TOTALLY knows. But he doesn't want to tell anyone, because he thinks it's about the most romantic thing ever. And he would know, since he's in love with Rocky, and Rocky is in love with him. So with Kimberly and Tommy it's mostly lust, and Kimberly and Billy it's pretty much love. And then...Adam and Kimberly get together. Just because. Um...yeah. THIS IS MY FANTASY SHUDDUP.

Not really. My dad is Jewish, and my mom doesn't really have a religion, but she grew up celebrating Christmas. I still consider myself Jewish though, even though it's never been from the maternal side (my grandfather used to be Jewish). Our aunt likes celebrating Christmas, so she comes up with our grandfather and we do it XD

Interesting. Your aunt sounds like a former friend of mine. She wasn't really into the faith/spiritual part of any religion, but she liked "Hanukkah" and she also took it upon herself that she liked Christmas as well, so she had a mini-tree in her bedroom.
