Someone should title their CD after that, me thinks.
Who is Your Ideal TV Boyfriend?

Created by Buddytv
1. OH MY GOD YOU GUYS. Okay, so this one was "Time of the Season" by The Zombies. Granted, I was not allowed to post my favorite lyrics "What's your name? Who's your daddy? Is he rich (riiiiich) rich like me?" BEST. PICK-UP LINE. EVER.
2. I actually heard this at Safeway today, and was excited when I knew the first line. I recently (read four months ago) uploaded Forty Licks by the Rolling Stones, so I still haven't listened to all their music. I like this song though, it's called "Mixed Emotions".
3. "Toes", by Norah Jones. How many of you like will like this song? I don't know, but I enjoy her music quite a bit.
4.
burkle almost got this one, but it was "Faint" by Linkin Park. Hey! Why are you laughing at me?!?! I will not be laughed at!...I like their stuff, alright?
7. "I Was Made For Loving You" by KISS. Really, the only reason I have this is because I made a real song version of the Elephant Love Medley XD
8. "Can't We Be Friends?" by Frank Sinatra. I love this song soooo much you guys. It's one of my favorites ever. It's heartbreaking without being overly sappy (well, it's Sinatra, but you know what I mean) and it's just perfect. I'd strongly recommend this to ANYONE.
10. "Extra Ordinary Thing" by Aqualung. I kind of feel obligated to say a bit about every piece now, but I really don't have much to say. Maybe I listen to Aqualung too much so I'm getting
kind of tired of them? I think they're excellent, but I might need to go on an Aqualung (and possibly also a Postal Service) break.
11. It's right there! "Ain't That A Shame", originally by Pat Boone, I think, but who really knows these things. I have the same song by a bunch of artists, but I'm pretty sure the one I got this time was by Cheap Trick.
13. If you laughed at me about Linkin Park, skip this, because it's Simple Plan....they're whiny and annoying and...really, really catchy. "I'll Meet You There".
14. Perhaps this song will redeem me. It's "Judy and the Dream of Horses" by Belle and Sebastian. I'm going to admit that at first I didn't really like Belle and Sebastian, like, at all. But now I have a bunch of their songs that I'm used to, and they're fun (well, as fun as Belle and Sebastian can be). If you don't already know who they are (seriously, they're from the
90's? Rob had a Belle and Sebastian poster in his apartment in "High Fidelity"), then I'd recommend looking into them.
15. "How Sweet It Is", by Marvin Gaye. It's a classic.
19. "Best Of My Love", by The Eagles. I love The Eagles. I love "Hotel California" a whole hell of a lot (I think I remember my mom saying once that it was her favorite song, but that might have changed), and even though nothing else they did quite measured up to that song, the rest was still pretty damn good. I think my second favorite is "Peaceful, Easy Feeling" and "Witchy Woman" always reminds me of my best friend....don't ask why.
20. I LIKE BLINK-182 AND I'M NOT ASHAMED, ALRIGHT? This one is "Down" which is actually one of my favorite songs of theirs. The chorus just gets me going every time, especially that "TI-DAL waves they RIP.RIGHT through me" part. I remember being in middle school and just listening to this CD over and over again until I had every single lyric and instrument memorized.
1) I will make a secret list, numbered 1-10, of random characters.
2)Without knowing the characters on the list, ask me any question about any combination of them, eg.: "If 8 were to have a fever, would 4 bring them soup, or laugh at their pain?"
3) When I have accumulated enough questions, I'll reveal the list and answer them all in a separate post.

Hmm, alright then. If 1 got pregnant with 10's baby what would they name their child?

Hmmm. If 3 and 6 were dating, would 9 be extremely jealous or overjoyed?
Ok.that was weak.Here's another:
If 1 had a great urge to ride the ferris wheel in the local fair, would 7 tag along or admit that he/she hates the circus because he/she is afraid of clowns?
Ok.that was crap too. Will think up a better one (haha!) but I'm still looking forward to seeing your answers for this!

Date: 2008-01-26 03:39 pm (UTC)3 and 9 are locked in an epic battle to the death. Who wins, and how did they get in this situation in the first place?
What is 4's favourite TV show?
...that's what I got right now, but I haven't had any coffee yet. More (possibly) to come.

Date: 2008-01-26 04:40 pm (UTC)I don't normally take those kinds of quizzes, but I had to in this case. I got Peter, too!!
"Time of the Season" by The Zombies.
Weird, because I was about to be all, "That wasn't The Zombies!!!" And I Googled it to find out who it was, and lo and behold, you were right! Thanks!

Date: 2008-01-26 06:33 pm (UTC)However, what is the prompt for this meme? I want to play!
I did the secret list meme not too long ago and enjoyed it. Here are some questions:
In a ten way sexy situation, who would top?
In a fight to the death between 7 and 5, who would come out victorious and what weapon would they use?
8 has asked 9 out on a date. Where would they go?
10 and 2 adopt a pet together. What type of pet is it and what do they name it?
3 and 1 engage in a pie eating contest. Who is the winner?
What would 4 get 6 for 6's birthday? What would 6 get 4?
