OMFG HEROES

SQUEE!
Okay, so first of all. That last scene almost made me cry..like, tears welling up, almost made me cry. I DON'T CRY DURING MOVIES OR TV SHOWS. EVER. If I made it through Titanic, I can make it through anything.
Secondly, the question everyone has been asking is, how much did the Haitian erase? My theory (though it's a sad one) is that he erased everything. Didn't Bennet ask him to go deep? And he would kind of know if he hadn't...although he wouldn't know that he had asked..He'd be very confus-ed (said the Shakespearean way because I'm awesome) if he thought he had a ten-year-old girl who suddenly disappeared and now he can't remember six years of his life.
Wait, so maybe he actually didn't forget anything except that past few days? Because the HS can't erase sixteen freakin' years of his life and expect him to, you know, be sane through it. He just needs to forget enough that the authorities won't incriminate him. This causes lots of problems. Will he still think he belongs to the corporation? Gah...this takes pondering.
Thank God I'm not a writer for this show, although it's extremely well written.
I love the relationship between Claude and HRG. It explains a lot. It doesn't explain why Claude thinks HRG is after him (he looked sort of surprised when HRG shot him, and *how* exactly did he escape that bullet wound?) but it explains a lot. Also, how did HRG know that is was Claude? Aren't there more than one type of Hero? There must have been another empath in the previous generation in order for Claude to teach Peter, so couldn't there be another invisible man? But I guess HRG was sort of hoping it was Claude too because he felt guilty.
Does anyone think he really started making an effort to connect with Claire after he "killed" Claude? That's really sweet, because I actually don't think HRG meant to shoot Claude. The look on his face was so surprised, and then he just kept on hitting the trigger because he didn't know what to do. Like how he kept on shooting long after Claude had fallen over?
Okay, well, that's definitely enough from me tonight, but I LOVED this episode. This was by far the best since the hiatus. All the episodes seemed to me to be in a lull with plot, but no heart, and this had tons of heart. Not the sappy kind (I actually kinda hate sappy which is why I squeed at the "no chick flick moments") but it did have heart. And Character Developement. That's always important.
Shutting up now.
I swear, sometime tomorrow or the next day, I will post both copies of my article.
